The 2025 calendar marked a year of expanded partnerships, strengthened community ties and thoughtful support across a range of initiatives for the Frank Montagnese Foundation.
This year, the Foundation’s focus remained clear: to back organisations and programs that uphold dignity, meet real needs and create opportunity beyond a single moment of support.
Support for Families and Local Initiatives
In December, the Foundation supported Sunshine Bendigo’s Christmas Toy Drive, helping ensure that children in vulnerable families experienced the joy of the season through locally delivered gifts.
This initiative reinforced the value of community-embedded delivery methods that provide care with respect to families.
Our support for Our Village’s Festive Appeal Matching Pool also reflected this ethos. By bolstering collaborative funding mechanisms, the Foundation helped extend support to families experiencing vulnerability during a period of heightened demand.
Partnership-Led Impact Across the Sector
Beyond seasonal activity, 2025 saw continued commitment to partnerships that extend impact:
- One Ball: Celebrating and supporting programs that help shape brighter futures beyond the pitch.
- Tour de Cure: Supporting events and initiatives that bring communities together to contribute to meaningful outcomes.
- Our Village visits: Reinforcing first-hand understanding of community needs through direct engagement.
These partnerships span sectors and focus areas, but share a common thread: they build connection, opportunity and wellbeing.
Embedding Dignity and Care Through Support
Across its work this year, the Foundation has sought to support efforts that don’t just deliver resources, but also uphold dignity and strengthen social connections.
Whether through funding mechanisms that widen access to support or through collaboration with organisations already trusted in their communities, this focus on thoughtful support continues to guide Frank Montagnese Foundation’s work.
Looking Ahead
As 2025 comes to a close, the Foundation remains grateful to the organisations, volunteers, and partners who have supported this work.
In 2026, this sense of purpose and partnership will continue to shape the Foundation’s approach, grounded in the belief that lasting impact grows from sustained, values-led engagement.
