GKM Group Director, Gabby Montagnese, established The Frank Montagnese
Foundation, to honour the wonderful life and legacy of her late father. His kind, loving and generous nature provides the vision and inspiration for the Foundation to create a
world in which all people feel safe, happy, healthy and able to reach their full potential.

The Foundation Invests in preventative programs and initiatives for healthy relationships and provides funding for a multitude of programs including Lung cancer research, mental health, kid’s programs, homelessness and sporting programs. These contributions embrace and support the Foundation goals of supporting the community by:

Lung Cancer Research

We donated to the 2020 Frank Montagnese Lung Cancer Fellow, Dr Paul Mitchell to produce the Lung Cancer Research Fellow Report in 2020.

St Kilda Mums

St Kilda Mums provide support and rehome essentials to give kids in need the best start in life. Our donations assist in the purchase of critically required equipment such as baby cots, heating and furniture. We also provided additional assistance for 40 babies.

CCC Foundation Ball

Our donation covered beds in hospitals for children in Sri Lanka. The Courage Compassion Commitment (CCC) Foundation is a not for profit organisation based in Sri Lanka and Australia to provide services in the areas of cancer and mental wellbeing.

CFA - Plenty & Harcourt

We donated to the CFA for the 2020 bushfires. Our local CFA used the funds to complete hose drying racks, which enable them to essentially turn around the trucks quicker after a fire as the hoses need to be properly dried out.

Fareshare Australia

Ongoing support for FareShare who rescue food that would otherwise go to waste to provide nutritious meals to relieve hunger, improve diet and boost the health of people in need. Recently our support provided a vegetable shredding machine, saving hours of work each day.

Foodshare Bendigo

Donation for crisis funding during the Covid lockdowns. Foodshare rescues food that would have ended up in landfill and feeds nearly 13,000 vulnerable people per week across Victoria.

Launch Housing Collingwood

Ongoing support towards providing emergency aid to people experiencing homelessness and to help keep women and children experiencing domestic violence safe.

McAuley Community Services for Women

Ongoing support for women and children who have faced family violence and homelessness, assisting them to positively take control of their lives. Most recently our funding provided learning support packs for students between schools.

Batyr

Ongoing support to the Victorian schools program which helps to create communities that support young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Most recently our donation supported four school programs and the Being Heard program.

Mancave

We donate funds to Mancave’s school programs, a preventative mental health and emotional intelligence charity that empowers boys to become great men. Most recently this supported Eltham College's Year 8 Boys session.

Flourish Girl

Ongoing support for school rites of passage programs working with teenage girls & non binary students between 13-17 years old to build their self-awareness, self-confidence and social connectedness within their school community and other trusted relationships.

CFECFW

Major contribution to the ‘These are our kids’ project with The Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare for children coming out of domestic violence. Most recently this supported their family violence and domestic violence Child Awareness campaign.

SSR State School Relief

Ongoing support providing laptops and iPads for kids in state schools impacted by COVID lockdowns. SSR is an organisation that improves the lives of tens of thousands of disadvantaged Victorian students, and their families, each year.

One Ball Sponsorship

A community soccer program designed for children and young adults providing opportunities to all people especially those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds across Melbourne. Our donations assist with the funding for 300 kids and their coaches and most recently a Ramadan dinner and Positive Soccer program.

Canteen

A donation of 3 Robots to support children at school. Canteen is Australia’s leading youth cancer charity providing evidence-based support to young people and families impacted by cancer.

HoMie

A donation for homelessness support services. HoMie stands for Homelessness of Melbourne incorporated enterprise. HoMie is a not for profit supporting young people affected by homelessness or hardship.

Love Me Love You

A donation towards training programs for facilitators. Love Me Love You is a not for profit organisation providing interactive and engaging programs that challenge the views and stigmas surrounding mental health.

Cape York Girl Academy

Support for the Cape York Girl Academy, Australia’s first boarding high school designed for young Indigenous mothers and their babies to live and learn together.

Ygap/Polished Man

A donation to ygap’s Polished Man campaign which encourages everyone to take a stand and actively commit to help end violence against women and children, by painting one nail in October each year.

Thinking Positive

Thinking Positive helps Australian organisations working with young people to promote positive mental health and wellbeing, and assist them in navigating life’s challenges with a healthy vision for their future. Most recently we supported their Eltham College Flourish Girls session.

Backpacks 4 Vic Kids

Backpack 4 Vic Kids provides crisis packs and gift packs to vulnerable kids. Their mission is to bring comfort, ease anxiety and to restore dignity to displaced children. Our recent donation enabled the production of medical emergency packs.

Documentary Australia

Documentary Australia is the country's only not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the funding, impact, and outreach of social impact documentaries, as well as a commitment to capacity building in the documentary and social sectors. Our recent donation assisted in the funding of the Intuition Project
