Frank Montagnese Foundation Joins Tour de Cure’s Cuban Spring Lunch to Support Cancer Research

We’re excited to share that the Frank Montagnese Foundation recently supported Tour de Cure’s Cuban Spring Lunch with a financial contribution, helping raise vital funds for cancer research. The Cuban Spring Lunch was a day full of energy, inspiration, and a strong sense of community, as we all gathered to make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Held under the warm sunshine, the event brought together supporters, cancer survivors, and advocates, all driven by a shared vision of a cancer-free future. It was impossible not to be moved by the personal stories of those affected by leukaemia, including heartfelt accounts by Matthew Doyle, Lyndey Milan, Lisa Messenger, and Matt Weston. Their courage and resilience were a powerful reminder of why this cause matters so much.

The day also had its lively moments, with standout performances from Rio Projekt, the Cuban Social Club, and a show-stopping set by Human Nature that had everyone on their feet. The event’s energy, combined with the generosity of attendees, sponsors, and partners like our foundation, helped raise an incredible $900,000 for life-saving cancer projects, including a special partnership with the Leukaemia Foundation.

At the Frank Montagnese Foundation, we’re proud to be part of this important mission. Tour de Cure has been a leader in cancer research since 2007, raising more than $130 million to fund essential research, prevention programs, and support initiatives. Their dedication to ending cancer is inspiring, and we’re honoured to stand alongside them.
