The Frank Montagnese Foundation is proud to announce they will be supporting Canteen’s intimate screening event with Delta Goodrem.
The event, to be held on May 10 at Village Gold Class Cinemas Jam Factory Complex in South Yarra, will look to raise funds for Canteen’s free support services that help young people aged between 12-25 to reduce feelings of loneliness, anxiety and depression when there is a cancer diagnosis in their family.
The Frank Montagnese Foundation is a proud partner of Canteen, and it is a program close to our hearts. The Foundation has already donated three robots to support children at school.
Delta was 18 – the same age as the young people in Canteen support – when she received her Hodgkinson’s Lymphoma diagnosis.
The evening includes food and drink on arrival, a Gold Class Cinema experience (dinner, drinks & Delta’s ‘Love is in the Air’ movie that achieved #1 ranking globally on Netflix), an after party, and a meet and greet with Delta at Village Roc’s Bar.
All funds raised during the event (including ticket sales) will go towards Canteen’s counselling and camp programs, delivered via their 11 offices in most states and territories.
Canteen’s support services also include online communities, information and resources, clinical trials, a Reconciliation Action Plan, and leadership and career support programs.
The camp format is recreational and therapeutic, and it also includes ski trips, cooking classes, and leadership festivals.
